There is so much buzz in our industry involving how to effectively use attraction marketing, web 2.0 and social marketing to build your mlm business. Many fail to do this effectively because they revert back to advertising instead of marketing.

According to Val Smyth, marketing is the art and science of helping another human being based on their needs an not your own.

This is a great definition and goes along with what I've been studying with concerns to mlm leadership. If you want to build a great online income then you must master the art of influence.

We all influence other people whether we recognize it or not. Your ability to influence others has little to do with your background, your parents, your social economic status or even your education. I've personally been applying the principles of influence every day as I use the latest in web 2.0, attraction marketing and social marketing techniques.

Each and every day I have people call or email telling me about how they found me and why they decided to contact me. For them it was chance that brought us together. For me it was a specific methodology of practicing influence.

I don't use these influence techniques as a form of manipulation in my mlm leadership style. Someone will sense you are trying to manipulate them and it will turn out bad for you. You must learn to practice sharing yourself, your values and your desires through influence.

I want to give you a few examples of how I utilize attraction marketing, web 2.0 and social marketing to influence others.
